By accessing or using Disk Status, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.
Service Description
Disk Status provides disk health monitoring and alerting services through software agents installed on your servers. We monitor SMART data and other disk health metrics to help prevent data loss.
Account Registration
To use our service, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Not use the service for any unlawful purposes
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the service to monitor systems you do not own or have permission to monitor
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
- Use automated means to access the service except through our API
Subscription Plans and Billing
Free Plan
Our Starter plan is free forever with limitations on the number of servers and disks.
Paid Plans
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees. Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination.
Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused portions of annual subscriptions.
Data and Privacy
Your use of Disk Status is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use server and disk data solely for the purpose of providing monitoring services.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
Limitation of Liability
Disk Status is provided as a monitoring tool to help prevent data loss, but we cannot guarantee that all disk failures will be predicted. We are not responsible for:
- Data loss or corruption
- Failed disks or hardware
- Missed or delayed alerts
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Disk Status are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of our service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice for:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Non-payment of fees
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Any other reason at our sole discretion
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
