Adding Your First Server

Before you can monitor disks, you need to add a server to Disk Status.

Step 1: Create the Server Entry

  1. Navigate to Servers from the main menu
  2. Click the Create Server button
  3. Enter a descriptive name for your server (e.g., "Production DB Server" or "Web Server 01")
  4. Click Create Server to save

Step 2: Access Setup Instructions

After creating the server, you will be redirected to the setup page. This page contains:

  • Your unique Server UUID - needed to register the monitoring agent
  • Installation instructions for the monitoring agent

Step 3: Install the Monitoring Agent

The monitoring agent runs on your server and collects disk health data. Follow the instructions on the setup page to install and configure the agent using your Server UUID.

Step 4: Verify Connection

Once the agent is installed and running:

  1. Return to your server's page in Disk Status
  2. Your disks should begin appearing within a few minutes
  3. The dashboard will update to show your server and disk counts

Plan Limits

Your subscription plan determines how many servers you can monitor. If you reach your limit, you will need to upgrade your plan to add more servers.
