Understanding Alerts

Alerts notify you when disk issues are detected that may require attention.

Alert Dashboard

Navigate to Alerts to see a comprehensive view of all alerts:

Alert Statistics

  • Active Alerts: Alerts requiring attention, broken down by severity
  • Acknowledged Alerts: Alerts that have been acknowledged but not resolved
  • Affected Disks: Number of disks with current alerts
  • Recently Resolved: Alerts resolved in the last 7 days

Alert Severity Levels

Alerts are classified by severity:

  • Critical (Red): Serious issues requiring immediate attention
  • Warning (Yellow): Potential problems that should be investigated
  • Info (Blue): Informational alerts for awareness

Alert Information

Each alert includes:

  • Message: Description of the issue
  • Severity: Critical, Warning, or Info
  • Affected Disk: Link to the disk with the issue
  • Triggered Time: When the alert was first raised
  • Status: Active, Acknowledged, or Resolved

Alert Lifecycle

  1. Active: Alert has been triggered and requires attention
  2. Acknowledged: Alert has been reviewed and acknowledged
  3. Resolved: The underlying condition has been resolved

Viewing Alerts by Section

The Alerts page organises alerts into sections:

  • Active Alerts: Current issues needing attention
  • Acknowledged Alerts: Issues you have acknowledged
  • Recently Resolved: Issues that have been resolved
